Toll Free Voicemail User Guide (with Plan A: 1-800 Follow Me)

This user guide covers everything you need to effectively manage your voice mail system. The following instructions will address:

(1) How to use our Voicemail System

(2) How to retrieve voicemail messages online

(3) How to access our Voicemail System via the phone.

Our proprietary solution provides you with a Fortune 500 aura through the use of voicemail. You can record a personal greeting, upload your own company greetings (in a .WAV format will cost $9.99 per message uploaded) or use one of our standard greetings.

To use this guide effectively you will need to login to your Online Account Manager.

Managing Our Voicemail System

 You can activate and set the parameters for our Voicemail System online from your Online Account Manager.

Getting started. Simply follow these steps:

    1.      Go to our customer's login page at www.bestcallservice.com/login.htm 
    2.      Sign in using your Client Number or User ID (starts with the letters “CR”).
    3.      Click on the Access Numbers button which is located on the menu bar near the left-hand
             side of the screen.
    4.      Click on the toll-free number that your voicemail account is assigned to.

See below for a description of each parameters in Voice Mail Section

Inputs :

:  Allows you to set the features for your voicemail via your toll-free line.
Number of Rings: Ensures your voicemail will pickup messages after the                                  assigned number of rings.
Email to Notify: N
otifies you at a prescribed address whenever someone                                  leaves a voice message.


Enabled:  Turns on the voicemail function for your toll-free number.
Disabled:  Turns off the voicemail function for your toll-free number.
Forced:  Allows you to route calls to your voicemail without accessing the toll-free number.


Retrieving Your Voicemail Messages Online 

All of your voicemail messages are archived in your Online Account Manager. So you can access them from anywhere and at any time as long as you have access to the Internet. To retrieve your messages, sign into your account and select the Access Numbers page.


Retrieving your voicemail:

You can find out if you have any new voicemail message courtesy of your intuitive Online Account Manager. Once you have signed in, you will be able to determine whether there are new messages simply by looking at the screen. If you have more than one toll-free number, you will also see which toll-free number the messages were left at. You need only do the following to access your messages:

1.      Click on the Voicemail link to access your list of voicemails.

2.      Press the Download link to either downloads the message to your own computer or to listen to the message online. 

NOTE: Select Open to listen to messages directly online, or select save to store messages onto your computer for later retrieval. If you choose to save the messages onto your computer, you can find and open them by going to the directory where you saved the files and clicking on the desired messages.


Accessing Our Voicemail System Via Phone 

You can access our Voicemail System via phone by first dialing your own toll-free number and then following these steps: 

  1. Press “**” as the phone is ringing.
  2. Enter your pin number.

NOTE: You can access your Pin Number through your Online Account Manager.

By accessing our Voicemail System by phone and following the simple voice prompts, you can:

  • Record greetings
    1. Record your own greeting. (i.e. Welcome to ABC company, all of our sales people are busy, so please leave a voice message).
    2. Review your own recording before saving it.
    3. Select standard greetings.
  • Access voice messages
    1. Listen to new messages or saved messages.
    2. Save messages.
    3. Delete messages.

Note: If you wish to access your messages by phone when your Voicemail is set to FORCED, you must dial 1-888-884-9694. When prompted to enter your Mailbox Number: (i) Enter your 10-digit Toll Free Number, without the "1", (ii) Enter your four digit PIN which you will see just above your voicemail parameters in your Online Account Manager.
